Episode 107 - We went on a joint jaunt to the Durham Public Library! Chris read some horror, Emily read something uplifting, and we had a wonderful conversation with Dr. Maysa Akbar about Urban Trauma, the Black Lives Matter Movement, and the importance of Allyship.

Tina (godmotherx5) | 37 comments I am so excited about the new Yaa Gyasi book. I wholeheartedly agree Homegoing was not given enough attention. Great interview with Dr. Akbar. My TBR is growing from this single episode.

A sheepish thank you for the shout-out regarding the comment I posted encouraging the audio version of Convenience Store Woman.
