I would like to apply for librarian but I have no idea if I meet the 50 books added requirement, I have added books but have not kept count, is there somewhere I can check this?

It means books on your shelves, not books you have added to the system.
You have 206 books on your shelves.You can see this on your profile, or click My Books at the top of the page.
Thank you so much Andrew! I thought I had to have added 50 books into the system in order to apply! does this mean I can apply now?
