Books About Animals?

I am reading Giraffe right now and enjoying the animal aspect of it. Anything animal related that you have enjoyed?

I finished Pride of Baghdad this morning (on a technicality....midnight or so). It was a rather excellent read, albeit brief.

I think my favorite animal related book is Watership Down by Richard Adams. The story and characters are great. It'll definitely make you look at rabbits differently.

um the lionboy series by corded, kinda like teen books kinda fuffy but still gives interesting stuff 2 chew on and i would SO wanna b like him hahaha

@Rachel, I liked all the Herriot books, some KATZ books(guy buys a farm, gets dogs, donkeys, goats, and a bull,) and Racing in the Rain (the dog tells the story,) and A Dog's Life by Peter Mayle, in which the dog also tells the story. I love dogs, I have a boxer, so I love animal books.
