I remember watching a fictionalized movie about the hunt for D.B. Cooper when I was a kid. I've also seen him mentioned in various true crime shows.

It rang a bell in a far away memory but I had to google the details. I thought it was interesting Elliot included it. I'm sure those who live in Washington State and Oregon have more vivid memories of the incident.

Probably because of my location, I'd never heard anything about it. I didn't even realise the D B Cooper robbery in the book was actually a real thing. Kendra Elliot must have been interested in the case to make it the theme of this.

I remembered this vividly, primarily because it was so brazen and the guy was never caught. It exposed a crack in our airline security and perplexed the FBI. It was a big deal when it happened.
