Kaje Harper | 17392 comments I'm wondering if the Book of the Month is useful to any of you here? Is it helping you find some stories to read? Is there a way to make it more interesting or useful?

Should we focus on free short stories (eg. fan fic or Tapas?) Should we pick a book for the month before the newsletter comes out, so people know what we're reading, rather than having the poll in the newsletter? Should we pick the current bestseller in the genre? Give me your thoughts here:

abi (booksgamesvinyl) I'm not sure if any of the Heartstopper books have been Book of the Month before but this is available on Tapas so is free to read but has also been properly published if people prefer a hard copy of it.

Personally I think more 'well-known' books might be better at the moment as people may be more likely to get this online/from their local library and more likely to read.

Kaje Harper | 17392 comments I don't think we've done Heartstopper - we did Radio Silence. Good thoughts.

Zakary (penguinu) | 1 comments I’m not really active but I do use this group to get new books so I would say it’s actually very helpful. I wanted to recommend Date Me, Bryson Keller as book of the month. Not sure if it was featured before but it’s a great read.

I'll put it on the next month's poll - I want to read it myself anyway. I'm glad if the group is being useful to you. :)
