The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown-2.5 Stars

This is the continuing story of Robert Langdon, who is trying to figure out clues to solve the greatest mystery in the history of mankind (or something).

Now, I have a soft spot for dumb action movies, and I feel the same way about light-hearted action reads. But they need to be well done. And this just-wasn't.

The flashbacks and backstory were handled really clunkily. And I spent most of my time not actually caring whether or not they solved the big secret. For a fun summer read, it just wasn't very fun, unfortunately.
