Chase And Asher's dorm
Izzy flinches. "That's the worst one."
"Where else does it hurt?" he asks softly. "Does your stomach hurt?" He keeps dabbing.
She whimpers and shakes her head. "My whole body hurts."
"I'll get you some meds izzy." he said grabbing an ibuprofen from the cabinant. He gives it to her along with some wat.er
Iz takes the medicine with water. She tenderly presses on the stab wound in her hip and holds back a scream. Her hand comes away bloody.
Asher wipes her hand off. He keeps washing it gently.
"Th-that hurts Asher," she whimpers, "S-stop. P-please."
"I know just a little bit more princess." he said softly. He had tears in his eyes. He keeps gently washing it.
Iz grips his wrist. "It's too deep," she whispers, looking at her hip, "It's not gonna stop bleeding."
Asher sighs. "Stitches.." he said softly.
She whimpers but nods, moving all her weight onto her uninjured side.
He sighs. "I'm gonna have a doctor come here since we can't move you without it bleeding more."
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left while you were asleep. I'm such an idiot," she whispers.
"It's okay, you just needed to do something." he said softly, not sure what it was. He grabs his phone and makes some calls.
"I finally avenged my family. That man... He'll never hurt anyone else again," Izzy whispers.
Asher looks at her. He goes over and kisses her head. "Good job Izzy." he said softly.
A few minutes later there is a knock. Asher lets them in. It's a female doctor.
"Hi, i'm Dr. Amy."
Iz bites back a yelp when the doctor comes in, resisting the urge to hide.
Asher goes over and sits behind izzy brushing her hair. "She needs stitches in her hip."
The doctor nods.
"Thats what i'm here for!" she goes over to izzy. "Hi, I'm just gonna check out your cut quick."
At first, Iz shrinks away from the doctor. Then she looks at Asher and makes herself relax, for him. I'll be better this time.
Asher holds her head softly in his lap. He kisses her head. The doctor lightly checks the wound. She sighs.
"Okay so have you given her anything?"
Iz looks up at Asher and gives him a small smile, trying to tell him that she was okay. Afraid, but okay.
Asher brushes her face. "I gave her some ibuprofen 15 minutes ago." he told the doctor.
"Okay so we can give her something to numb the pain." She said to them.
Iz nods, trying to keep herself calm-ish.
The doctor nods. "Close your eyes and your gonna feel a small pinch." she said softly.
Asher held izzy close to him.
"What are you gonna do to me?" she asks, her voice full of fear.
Izzy looks up at Asher, her eyes saying, 'I'm scared.' She didn't want to close her eyes and let the doctor poke her. She didn't want to sit still while a stranger pokes and hurts her over and over again. She didn't want to be here, in this situation.
Asher rubbed her arm. “It’s okay just one poke right?”
The doctor nodded.
“Just one. Then it won’t hurt anymore and I can work”
"Where?" Izzy asks, "Where are you gonna poke me?"
“Right here” the doctor said pointing to a spot on her thigh.
She looks between Asher and the doctor uncertainly. "Okay..." Iz watches the doctor, cuddling close to Asher.
Asher held onto her. “Close your eyes.” He whispered
The doctor got out the needle
Izzy makes a scared squeak, shrinking away from the doctor.
Asher rubbed her back. “Close them Izzy” he whispered
The doctor put a hand on her leg
"I-I c-can't," she tells him, trying to tug her leg away. This sends a burst of pain up to her hip and Iz cries out.
Asher holds her. “Your Okay. It will just be for a second.” He said softly.
The doctor waited
Izzy notices how patient the doctor was being and she starts to trust her a tiny bit. After about a minute, she nods and squeezes her eyes shut, holding tightly onto Asher's forearm.
Asher held onto her and nodded at the doctor. She placed her hand on Izzy’s leg.
“On three”
“One two three” she counted before sticking it in
"Owww. Asher Asher Asher that hurts! And it's cold! Make her stop," Iz whimpers, wriggling a bit.
She squeezes Asher's arm very tightly, trying to distract herself from the pain, but also trying not to panic.
Asher holds her. “It’s okay almost done”
The doctor pulls it out.
“Good job Izzy” the doctor said. “It should feel numb from your waist down
“Do you have to do stitches?” Iz asks quietly, leaning on closer to Asher.
The doctor nods. “Yes but you won’t feel it” she said.
Asher held izzy
She whimpers and hugs Asher. “I can’t feel my legs… it’s scary.”
“That’s good. Your hip shouldn’t be able to feel anything either” the doctor said.Asher held onto Izzy.
“I got you”
Iz uses a tiny bit of magic to shock herself in the hip. "Nope. Can't feel it."
"Where else are you hurt baby?"
