Mark gets on his hands and knees and looks in the hole
August keeps smirking at the girl.
There's a bunch of cheese. Food!

The rat goes into a unseen part of the hole and grabs some water
August takes the cheese and smiles at the rat and pets it. "Who's a good rat" she said using a baby voice.

Mark grabs his own water and takes a small sip. Then ate a little piece of cheese
The rat bites August's finger

"I'll be back." he says climbing out of the water and running upstairs."Hey your okay." he says to the rat touching it.
“Please. Don’t.” Mark pushes himself against the wall
August slaps her face, "Why did you slap the rat". she asked herself. "Stupid stupid stupid".
The rat roared and slapped John across the room

"It's okay." he said pained.
Mark held out his piece of cheese, “We’re still friends right?!”
August shut her eyes ready to get hurt by the rat.
He ignored Mark and slapped August
Mark breathes fast, “please don’t!”
Mod
"Hey." he said. "She didn't mean it."
August went flying into the pool, "Crap" she thought. "She can't swim". August's wound opens up again.
The rat looks at Mark and walked toward him slowly

"Stay here use my shirt for your wounds." he said before running to mark. "It's okay."
August gasps for air and feels a warm current around her. "It's her blood".
The rat bent down until it was on Mark's level

John went over to the rat.
"Stop." he said softly. "She was stupid to do that."
Mark looks at the rat, “hi?”
August grabs John's shirt in attempt to stop the bleeding.
Mark smiled, “Thanks, you were freaking me out a little…”
