"I did" August said. "My Dad trained me for this my whole life".
“You thought you’d make friends with a rat?” Mark said surprised

“So you weren’t prepared.” Mark gave a friendly smirk
"Yeah I guess I was not" she said smiling a bit.
Mark laughed, “Will your father be happy when you come home?”
"I hope so If he's not well screw him..." she says.
"What about you any family" she asked
“1 mom, 1 dad, 3 sisters” Mark said sadly
"What's wrong?" "Are you okay" she asked seeing Mark's sad face.
“Yeah, I’m okay.” Mark said but avoiding the question of why he was sad
"Mark you can speak to me.." she said hugging him.
“I just won’t see them again,” Mark said quietly
"So," Saeva says, breaking the momentary silence. "We're locked in here, right? What are we gonna do?"

"Yep," Saeva says. "And the storm is crazy. This whole building could get knocked over." she says this as if she doesn't care, stroking Carl.
"Carl would probably warn us he's a smart rat..." August said.
"Yes, he is," Saeva says, looking down at the rat. "But still, I don't want to just wait around here. Wanna help me force open a door, just in case?"
"Yeah okay..." August gets up and goes to the door.
Saeva puts Carl down in his hole and follows August
Saeva tries to pull the door open.
"Don't leave Carl." August said. "Put him in Mark's bag."
August tries to pull open the door
Saeva obliges, putting the rat in Mark's bag before returning to try to open the door.
She pulls it open just a little bit. "Saeva a little help I think I got it"...
Saeva quickly grabs onto the opening, pulling harder. The door moves a little more.
"Okay let's do it at the same times now" August said pushing it even harder.
Carl waves for something over to where he is
"One moment, Carl!" Saeva says, helping August push open the door.
"What is it Carl?" "He may be trying to show us something he is a smart rat." She said.
Carl nodded and waved them to come
Saeva sighs ((that sounds weird to say)) and walks over.
Carl points to his hole, when you look into it, it goes outside.
"Thank you so much, Carl!" Saeva says. "But...this is too small. How will we get through?"
"You...want us to break your home? But...we can't do that! That's where you live!"
He made a face like, I live you with you now.
August smirked at Carl, "I'm sorry for slapping you and calling you stupid your actually really smart.." August said but she still kept her distance.
Carl didn't respond. He rab up August and sat on her shoulder
"Are you sure...?" Saeva asks.
