Why do you like/not like her? Do you have any book recommendations for the group?

She has been called a political author. I think Unsheltered certainly was, but I have not read any of her other books. I would love to hear from someone who has.

Michele (mlbose) | 115 comments I’ve not read any of her other books either. Although, The Poisonwood Bible has been on my reading list for a long time.

Michele, me too. There just always seems to be too much other stuff to read! Someday...

Katie | 56 comments Her books stay with me, but I never seek them out. They come to me via social connections!
She is a political author and this one certainly covered a lot of bases.

Katie, do you have a favorite we need to read (besides The Poisonwood Bible)? :)

Michelle Ostis | 213 comments Begin at the beginning, with The Bean Trees; it was a wondrous debut—and then you’ve got a sequel in Pigs in Heaven. And yes, The Poisonwood Bible was a runaway hit because it was also a revelation.
