Neal Thompson | 7 comments I was referred to this group by help desk. My question is why the link from my book page to Amazon doesn't take me to my book, but instead to a very long list of books with similar names? I tried to change the title to Abandoned: A Sacred Mission, but it keeps reverting to the original. I also have changed the cover, but that is less important. I did not originate my book's presence on Goodreads, even though I am the author and am glad it is here. I just want people to find it on Amazon.

Scott | 17312 comments Which edition are you using? It needs to have an ASIN or 10-digit ISBN to direct link.

Neal Thompson | 7 comments I have tried to install both without success. ASIN: B081Y5FNTG. ISBN: 9781711223018.

Emily | 13206 comments You have to be on the edition with the ASIN or ISBN in order for Amazon to find it directly. If you need them attached to a different edition let us know which ones.
To set the default edition follow these instructions

Neal Thompson | 7 comments Yes, I did manually set another edition as the primary. Have done so repeatedly. It works until I close page. When I reopen it, it is back to old one. The issue I am most concerned about, however, is how to change the page to send readers to my book on Amazon. Since all my various editions have same numbers, it should redirect to the one currently on Amazon. It does not.

I think what you are trying to do is set this edition as the default.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will show on your author profile. Here's how:

Scott | 17312 comments You'd have to be on this one:
or this one:

Those are the only ones with ID numbers to link directly to Amazon.
