Annette Mckitrick | 29 comments A beautifully written adventure set around 1920’s New York.
Vita’s grandfather has been robbed of his mansion by a ruthless property tycoon leaving him heartbroken. It was his home, filled with happy memories of his late wife, who’s smile he sees in Vita’s.
With an ecliptic group of friends and well devised plan, Vita who is both strong and heroic is determined to steal it back, after all it rightfully belonged to her family in the first place.
The story is fast-paced, full of love, loyalty, trust and the lengths someone will go for the ones they love.
A great read for the student who is always looking for a new book and at the same time they will discover their new favourite award-winning author.

Jane (janeboniface) | 123 comments Thanks for that Annette! We have the book at Heaton but I haven't had a chance to read it, so it's good to know that it is a winner. I did enjoy "The Explorer" by the same author. :-)
