I read this book in 2010-2012. I borrowed it from my elementary school library. The 2 scenes I remember (details may be skewed, it was quite a while ago and i was young) are of this girl being worried about pickpockets while walking in her town and a scene where she must disguise her eyes with drops so that she is not spotted in a crowd. I also remember her father being a prevalent character. a prince may have also been involved.
