Story was a steampunk/fantasy adventure series. I dont remember much, but there was a huge map in the story, had a city on a giant clif, and then woods and forest leading up to undiscovered lands. In one of the books they try to fly beyond the clif. And also they try to explore the regions past the forest. I think there was some sort of top of the word up there. I read this series a few years ago and cant find it anywhere. Its a YA Steampunk fantasy.
