Page (victriviaqueen) | 47 comments Just started the Chaos Walking books -- YA fantasy by Patrick Ness. I figure I will get the big chunk off my plate first, plus I have these books out of the library so there is a built-in time limit.

I started reading after midnight and plowed through the first 85 pages; once it gets going it's hard to put down.

Page (victriviaqueen) | 47 comments PHEW! Finished the first book, The Knife of Never Letting Go in no time at all but it ends with a ridiculous cliffhanger! I have no choice but to dive right into the next book!

(I reviewed the book in my feed; suffice to say I am very happy no one spoiled this one for me so I have done my very best not to spoil others!)

Page (victriviaqueen) | 47 comments OK. Finished book two, The Ask and the Answer which, like the first, ended in another cliffhanger! I am keen to finish the third to see how Ness wraps it all up.

Page (victriviaqueen) | 47 comments Wow! Finished the third book and it was almost as good as the first. Ness is definitely an author I will read again; these books were extremely hard to put down.

Kathy Thanks Cheryl. I have had The Knife of Never Letting Go in my pile for a while now. I hope to tackle it this year. I hate when they end in a cliffhanger! You feel like you have to jump right in and not take a break. Glad to hear they were page turners!
