15.8 - Parasite
Parasite won four awards at the 2020 Academy Awards and was the first film not in English to win Best Picture. The film also won numerous other awards.

Read a book set in South Korea or with an author born in South Korea. If the book is set before 1945 (when North and South Korea were divided), a setting in Korea works, regardless of what part of Korea.

REQUIRED: If the setting or author birthplace is not apparent from the GR description, metadata or author biography, include in your post a link establishing this information.

Actually, much of the book is set after 1945, but according to wikipedia Jeju Island is in South Korea.

I really liked this book.
