We have arrived at the end! Looking at the discusssions, it seems most really really enjoyed this read. I'm excited that everyone liked this book, especially since it's my favorite fiction novel.

Please leave your Goodreads review in the comments. (Leave some words about what you liked/disliked.)

---------------------------

So let's talk about the book and author as a whole. I want to encourage you to go back through our discussion posts and read the questions you asked:

Have your questions been answered?
Were you right/wrong?
Did you strongly dislike anything in the book?

I want to come back to Sanderson's religious beliefs, particulary as a Mormon:

What spiritual threads do you see woven in this story?
How does Dalinar's story relate to cessationism vs continuationism, particulary concerning prophecy and special revelation?
Did you see any influences of Sanderson's Mormonism in this book?

---------------------------

Finally, the most critical question:

Would you like to group-read the next book immediately?
If yes but not immediately, when would be best?

In my opinion, Sanderson's books (particulary the Stormlight Archive) are best when they are binged.

So who wants to continue?

I'm 100% down to read the next one soon.

I'll come back with more thoughts later. I have to let this sit on my brain for a bit.

I'm so happy you enjoyed this. After we read the next book, I think you'll have caught the bug. :)

I absolutely want to continue ASAP. I have to finish a library audiobook before I jump into the audio of the next book. But the other book is short and I have several long drives coming up.

I will admit, there's a part of me that wants to reread this one before I jump into the next one. This book is a freaking firehose (in a really good way haha) and I'm both dazed and confused as well as mind-blown and obsessed. I think I'll continue powering through for now (because I realize that more things will come together in the following books) but a set of hard copies of The Stormlight Archive so far is going in my Amazon cart for the very minute I can swing it haha.

I LOVED this book. I cannot wait to finish this series. I need to know who Wit/Hoid is, I need more of these interlude characters, I need to see Jasnah and Shallan’s beautiful friendship/mentorship continue to grow, I need to see Dalinar and Navani finally be together, I need to see more of Dalinar and Kaladin’s paternal relationship, I need Szeth—just Szeth, everything about Szeth, I need to know what the heck Taravangian’s deal is, I need to know what happened to the Almighty, I need all of it.

You have a lot more books to read then. He appears in every Cosmere book Sanderson writes. You have at least 12 books to read. Enjoy! lol
