Charisse Moritz | 113 comments Hi Brooke and welcome. If you have any interest in a Mature YA Romance (intended for 18+ readers), I'd be happy to provide a Mobi, Epub, PDF or Kindle copy of my book Shakespeare Burning for you to read and potentially review. You can contact me here of through my email at ugarps@yahoo.com. I've included a short blurb below and hope to hear from you! Cheers! Charisse

He’s the boy who wants to disappear.

One mistake & seventeen-year-old Shake LeCasse lost everything. Now there’s no going back and no way to move forward. The once-popular hockey captain is living in the basement of a grandmother he barely knows, ditching school, avoiding friends & working hard on self-destruction.

She’s the girl nobody sees.

Cleo Lee survives however she can. Lie, cheat, steal, & saving Mr. Popular isn’t part of the plan. Telling him the truth about the night that destroyed his life is downright dangerous. She needs to keep quiet, be smart and let the guy she’s been half in love with since middle school throw away a future she’d do anything to have. Too bad her heat can’t resist, no matter the cost.

Maya Zebley | 7 comments Hi Brooke,

Thank you for your offer, if possible, I would love for you to review my book Criminal Composition:

Criminal Composition by Maya Zebley

The FBI recruits a music therapist as an undercover agent to investigate a brutal murder case. . .
Dafna Armstrong is a 30-year-old, single music therapist who is dedicated to providing music therapy sessions to her hospice patients. On a whim, she attends an FBI recruiting session led by Agent Cobain. In a surprising move, Dafna joins the investigation team just to get closer to Agent Cobain, even though she remains in doubt about her skills as an undercover FBI agent.

AJ is their suspect. He is a famous rock star who became a criminal suspect when his past love interest disappeared. Although the FBI questioned him, no clear evidence was found connecting him to his lover’s disappearance. As soon as AJ was no longer considered a suspect, he fled to the Philippines, but years later he comes back to the USA to receive aggressive treatment for his recent cancer diagnosis. Upon his return, Agent Cobain sees an opportunity to re-open the case. To allow for a thorough investigation and aiming for a confession, the FBI manipulates AJ’s medical files. He is told that he has less than six months to live and is admitted to hospice care where he meets Dafna, the music therapist.

Now, who will be the first one to discover the loophole in the criminal case?

The book is currently for sale at Amazon https://amzn.to/2xo5GPi
and Goodreads https://bit.ly/3cyFiR9 in both paperback and eBook formats.

If you are interested in reading it, I will happily send you a copy. Let me know. Thanks again. Maya.

N.C. Ferrao | 14 comments Hey Brooke,

I am looking for reviews on my recently published book, THE CABIN.
It’s a psychological thriller.
Here is the book blurb:

>
She tried hard, to stand still, to control her trembling, to squeeze her thumping heart. Holding onto the razor-sharp scalpel that suddenly felt heavy.

Murder? No, that was not a part of the plan.
When Ohio based Aria decided to join her friends on their camping trip in a secluded location, deep in the forests of Dandeli; she was looking forward for that last dashing weekend before heading for college.

But then, two strangers join. When Anya introduces her mysterious boyfriend, Kai and his cheerful, and yet over-friendly best friend Rylan; Aria feels something is off.

Initially, everything seems fun, but when Rylan suggests they spend the weekend at his Cabin, Aria couldn’t shake off the feeling that they can’t come back from what they are going into.

THE WEEKEND NEVER ENDED!

As secrets are uncovered, a sinister plan unfolds. And deaths follow.

message 24: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie James | 5 comments Hi Brooke,

I recently published a coronavirus romantic comedy titled Glass Walls that could really use a review or two.

It's about an ordinary girl who loses her job and gets swept up and saved by the mercurial billionaire with a mysterious past, Elon Carlisle.

I wrote in hopes of cheering people up during the COVID-19 pandemic. The humor is over-the-top, exaggerated, and has a bit of a sense of ironic distance from the expectations of the genre, which I think may be subtle to some readers. Anyway, I think there are quite a few genuinely funny moments, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Thank you for the consideration, and stay safe amidst all this craziness.

Christine Schulze | 7 comments Hi, there! Please check out my young adult fantasy story, "Beyond the Veil," available as a free download on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Beyond-Veil-Ch...

Trapped inside an unwanted betrothal, Gillian of Adelar seeks escape within a forbidden magical Veil. Beyond, she meets Callum, a knight's son from Rosa, with whom she instantly connects through their shared passion against age-old prejudices.

But for any Adelaran—and especially Gillian—bonding with someone from another race is forbidden. Loving them would be downright criminal—an act worse than murder. As Gillian's friendship with Callum blossoms into something deeper, she faces a difficult choice:

Will she walk away from Callum forever? Or will she risk everything to flee with him and find the freedom she's always yearned for?

Thanks so much for considering!

Keith Gell | 12 comments Hi Brooke

This is a request for a book review of my debut novel The Telepathy Office.

If you are willing to do this please let me know what format you prefer.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085XN8XG9

Summary of The Telepathy Office by Keith Gell
The vast metropolis, a city inhabited by goblins, is in the throes of an industrial revolution forged in magic. Manna, magical energy captured in physical form, fuels its factories that produce artefacts, to be traded across the galaxy. Wizards are the new elite. They use their magical skill to amass great wealth, and in turn, political power. Resentment grows among the mundane goblin proletariat.

Magic purveys every aspect of goblin life: Telepathic communication, weather control, and healing. But alongside the benefits come risks: Mutation from manna pollution, and magical diseases of vampirism and lycanthropy. But the biggest threat of all is demonic invasion.

Vampires steal a book to summon a demon. Infernal manna finds its way onto the market place, with awful consequences.

Grand Master Pharaoh Henry must recruit a team of demon hunters to stop a full-scale invasion from Hell. But Henry is a dangerous fanatic, and those who work for him end up dead, or worse. No right-minded wizard would risk death, or losing his soul, so he recruits who he can: A drug addicted augurist, a dishonoured ork, a cowardly policeman, a fugitive vampire, and a vain fashionista who shares her mind with a demon.

Against the backdrop of armed revolution, they investigate a Satanic plot, to prevent the opening of a gate to Hell itself.

And like the other students, her competition. she's painfully shy, but if she wants to be cast as Odette, she must overcome her shyness and her fear of being known. Kelly Mack McCoy (goodreadscomkellymackmccoy) | 14 comments Hi Brooke,

Midwest Book Review calls Rough Way to the High Way 'An Extraordinary Novel.' It is written with mystery, suspense, adventure, humor, and a touch of romance. It's available in the format of your choice, including the new audiobook format.

Thank you!

Hi Brooke,

If my below comedic memoir is of interest to you, I can send it to you in epub or mobi format. Thanks for your consideration!

"I'll Laugh About This Later" book description:
My name is not Zoey, but the rest of this story is pretty legit. I did grow up in Hawaii, and I do check the boxes "two or more races" and "millennial" on surveys. My journey includes a cast of close relations who are managing schizophrenia, OCD, hoarding, and sticking-head-in-sand. I have included an unhealthy dose of detail regarding my struggles sexing and relationshiping. I also share my struggles to try the make-the-world-a-better-place thing, despite my urge to sprint away from every mildly uncomfortable conversation. I've been lucky to find humor in most of my life. There may be bits of this story that bum you out. However, I'll only let that go on for a few pages before I say something awkward that you might laugh at. For example, if I tell you someone dies, I'll quickly follow up by telling you about the time a 12ish year old boy hit on me at a grocery store. (He may have mistaken my work backpack for middle school gear, or he may have just been a baller.) There's a splash of politics and COVID-19 pandemic fun in here too. I would describe this story as having a happy ending.

James Fox | 16 comments Hi Brooke!

Thank you for your interest in reviewing books! It's such a huge help for authors. I've included the requested details down below, as well as a link to request a digital review copy.

https://storyoriginapp.com/reviewcopi...

It is also available on Kindle Unlimited if you prefer that route.

I'm absolutely willing to send out free paperback copies if you reach out to me directly! I enjoy holding books, too! ;)

- Revolution (The Sol Saga Book 1)
- Sci-Fi Thriller
- War is good for business... And business is about to boom.

General Keith Brennan would rather face an army with his trusty rifle than attend another state dinner. When the President of the solar system is assassinated on Mars, Brennan is the obvious choice to investigate. If he comes up with the wrong answer, though, his career will be over.

However, duty is never so simple. When the investigation uncovers a trail of corruption and a conspiracy on a system-wide scale, Brennan’s career is the least of his worries.

With Earth and Mars on the brink of a shooting war and forces behind the scenes determined to push them over the edge, only Marine General Keith Brennan can stop the slaughter before it’s too late. Unless, of course, it already is…

Revolution is the first in a new gritty sci-fi saga with enemies at every turn. Grab your rifle, pick your side, and join the revolution now!
