Lillyyy | 5556 comments Yes definitely paperbacks. They are easy to take places, normally smaller and yes super floppy :)

--✧ ơƖƖıɛ (aureate-dewdrops) I like hardcovers because I’m not as scared I’ll rip it.

message 3: by Lillyyy, Bookish Immortal (new)

Lillyyy | 5556 comments That’s a good point and I definitely agree.

message 4: by Lillyyy, Bookish Immortal (new)

Lillyyy | 5556 comments I know same. If there was an award for accidentally ripping pages in your books I think I might win lol

message 5: by Cat (new)

Cat Carstairs | 138 comments I'm definitely a paperback person. Though they are easily damaged, I can't strain my hands for that long! Unless the book is over like 500 pages- then hardcover is necessary.

message 6: by Lillyyy, Bookish Immortal (new)

Lillyyy | 5556 comments Yeah I totally agree

A Reading Disaster | 27 comments I always read paperback books, becaus for one, there cheaper, so I can buy more books if I buy paperbacks, and there just easier to hold.

message 8: by Lizzy (new)

Lizzy | 266 comments I love paperbacks ,for one I'm cheap .And two they are so much easier to hold. But if it's a big book (500+) then I feel it's better with hardcover.

☀︎El In Oz☀︎ (elinoz) I love both! I honestly don’t have a preference. I guess I have more paperbacks since they’re cheaper but I love hardbacks as well.

Adela you must have nice friends if you've never been hit by a book before.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

hehe. u should. it is a lot safer then actual weapons an it kinda is fun. 😎

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

friend:'Uhhh...why are u aimin a book at me?'
U: "Don't worrie, it will be over soon! just don't move!"

message 15: by Lillyyy, Bookish Immortal (new)

Lillyyy | 5556 comments I’ve never got a hard cover thrown at me but I have gotten a bunch of paperbacks thrown at me lol

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

message 17: by Random Pineapple (new)

Random Pineapple (certifiedkilljoy) | 15422 comments Using hardcover books is basically the definition of: anything is a weapon if you try hard enough.
Never been hit by a book I don’t know what’s going on with you people

message 18: by Random Pineapple (new)

Random Pineapple (certifiedkilljoy) | 15422 comments Using hardcover books as a weapon I mean

message 24: by Shubham (new)

Shubham Raj (memberofspew) | 268 comments Paperbacks cause they are easier to carry and read, much less expensive and much more durable than hardcovers.

Shubham Raj (memberofspew) | 268 comments Adela wrote: "I feel like I'm the only person here who enjoys audiobooks 😂 You're welcome!"
I tried audiobook once, and I couldn't get the feel of the story and also couldn't retain the details for long enough and thus I am back to good old Paperbacks and Kindle.

message 26: by Starrisa (new)

Starrisa | 4 comments Ooh this is a hard one. For hardcovers sometimes I misplace the covers when I take them out 😂but they are more, Idk, sturdy? Holding it gives me a sense of satisfaction and completion, but it may not make sense lol. Paperbacks are definitely easier to carry around, and are typically lighter. So I guess I like both XD

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

papperbacks are also easyer to hit peeps witb!

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

NOPE!!!😎😂

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

message 34: by Cat (new)

Cat Carstairs | 138 comments I'm kinda intrigued about this ngl 😂

daughterofathenacarli | 63 comments I personally like them both equally, but I usually get paperback because it's cheaper.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

cheaper....and softer😎

message 37: by Isabella (new)

Isabella Auzinger | 2 comments Totally paperback. Hardcovers make you deal with that uncooperative and irksome sleeve.

message 38: by April (new)

April Paperback if it’s not too long, I feel like really long paperbacks hurt my hands to hold

Isabella Auzinger | 2 comments Adela wrote: "I feel like I'm the only person here who enjoys audiobooks 😂 You're welcome!"

I love audiobooks! I usually listen to them when I'm on the run or doing a puzzle. But sometimes when I am sitting in bed listening to an audiobook, (my favorite one is and always will be A Wrinkle In Time) I can kind of listen to the book and create a mini movie in my head. But then I end up having to rewind the audiobook because I get distracted thinking about lunch lol

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

don't forget paperbacks don't make u pay such a large med bill😀

message 41: by Shubham (new)

Shubham Raj (memberofspew) | 268 comments Stormborn wrote: "don't forget paperbacks don't make u pay such a large med bill😀"

That's why I always say they are cost efficient. But I guess my Maths book(paperback) can still make you pay your bills for X-ray, painkillers, etc.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

yup! don't throw a 6 hundred page book at someone. it makes em c

message 43: by Random Pineapple (new)

Random Pineapple (certifiedkilljoy) | 15422 comments Well maybe I want them to cry
