Mark | 5 comments This book I read in the 70s while I was in elementary school, probably 6th grade.

It was about a kid who enters the Air Force Academy to play football, and I remember he played Oregon St. University, and I want to say it was at a stadium in Portland, rather than in Corvallis, where the Beavers actually play. The reason I remember them playing the Beavers is because I grew up in Oregon.

Unfortunately that’s about all I can remember. I’ve been looking around and keep getting sent to sites about Chip Hilton, and several other characters, but I’m pretty sure they are written way too early for this book.

I apologize if this isn’t enough information, tough to remember books I read 40-some years ago.

Mark | 5 comments Reading through it, I think it might be the Falcons to the Fight book. That name sounds very familiar.

Thank you.

Do you want to wait until you can reread the book, or are you ready to call this solved?
