(Are you here, Shayna?) Maisie staggers in here, the cold wrapping itself comfortably around her. She liked it better when it was cold. She drew a shuddery breath. It was better for both of them, Maisie. You know it.
She lets out a little sob.

Saudia crashes in, looking around. She doesn't look frantic though. In fact..she looks freakishly calm. Maisie leaving got her going insane........
"Hey Maisie!!!" She yells at the top of her lungs. "Where are you? Ya'll need to help me kill some lil kids, it'll be fun! What? You don't want to kill some kids? Oops....let's go join a freak show instead, right? MAISIE!" She drops her head weakly.

Saudia stumbles, like a drunk, still in a bad mindset.
"Aaw. You'll kill me? That'd be a present, really! But I'm not here for you.....I'm here for Blue! You see....you leaving made her break down. Like old wood. Blue is Blue. You are you." Saudia's insane thoughts scramble.

Saudia is still going insane, like a drunkard. "Hey, whatcha got there!" she whispers. "Ooo! Is that a knife! Fun! Nevermind......don't want to get caught up in THAT vomit, I'mma hustle and go, reminds me of the slobbery District 10 mess. I'll miss you Maisie. I'll tell Blue you love her too....." then slowly, Saudia scrambles back to the desert.
Maisie crosses her arms, satisfied.

Rose falls on her knees next to him. “Shhhh, where’s it hurt baby?”

She nodded and took some snow and placed it on there. She used the torn part of her shirt to wipe away the blood. She then put on some of the medicine and pulled down his shirt. “There.” She had some pecks on her arms.

"I'm so stupid." he said and ripped some of his shirt sleeve off. He put snow on her arm and wiped the blood from her arm. He put the meds on her arm. He wrapped her arm. "I'm sorry."
She looked at him and shook her head. “I would have done the same thing. But we’re safe.”

"Thank you so much for not hating me when i do stupid things."
She hugged him tightly. “I love you Trent. I will never hate you.”

“No.” She said standing and looking around. “Should we head for the desert or find camp here? It’ll be dark soon.”

She turned to him. “We’re a team Trent.”

She looked around and spotted a hole in the ground. “There.” She pointed to it.

She nodded and closed her eyes. “I’m glad your ok.”

Rose started to shiver. Her shirt was now a crop top from all she had used it for

She cuddled into his warm chest and held him close as she slept.

Rose pushed closer to him and groaned in her sleep a tear sliding down her cheek
