I read the series in 2015 ish.
Girl follows guy by a river/bridge and goes though portal back in time
Two weeks in past is one day in future
Boy is actually a prince that is coming to the future to learn medicine to help people in the past with illnesses
Girl is daughter of someone from the past who hid her in the future. She ends up being a princess of some sorts. Girls friend later follows her through time and becomes her guard maybe?
Beginning of book the girl is driving with little brother and they get into a accident and the guy sees and helps them then disappears
