YA romance book. I read this book about 2 years ago, A new girl at school becomes co-leaders of the team who run the school newspaper with this boy. He wants to get to know her better so she agrees to speak to him if he drives her home. She limps and only ever wears oversized mens clothes everyday. He finds out out that she was in an accident with her boyfriend and he died and she now lives with his parents. They end up going on some sort of adventure and she shows him a fish pond (i think koi fish??) in an abandoned building - pretty sure the front cover is of two fish. they end up falling in love but then they break up after she realises they're not meant to be together and it ends with them going on separate paths.
