ABANDONED. Fiction. Stranger end up on an island in a house after answering advert

I read this about 10 years ago and I cannot find it anymore. I bought it from HMV and it has a green cover. Fiction about strangers answering an adventurous advert and end up on an island together. Something happens in the attic but don't want to cause a spoiler.

The guy who places the advert was in the attic and he collapses and dies. They find him with a suitcase full of things which relate to each persons own biggest fear.

Is that the only death, or do the people who answered the ad die too, like in "And Then There Were None"?
