Hi, this is a paperback that I read in the early/mid 90s about a girl who was in either 4th or 5th grade and had a mean teacher. The teacher made the class use fountain pens and the girl hated it. She also really liked Gilbert and Sullivan operas. I don't remember much else except the teacher turned out to be kind of OK in the end. Thanks!
