I need my name changed on my profile from Tory-Kristen Collins to just Kristen Collins. My books can't match up right because of it.

Note that if your name is changed, it still will not be the default profile for your name, because there are multiple authors with the same name. Books will still need to be moved to yours. However, librarians are happy to do this regardless of your profile name.
I'm trying to work with Scott but he's telling me that I need support to change my name and now I need a librarian to merge profiles? THis is way too complicated... SMH
No, you are good. Wait for them to finish fixing your books in the other thread. You can leave your name or ask Support to change it, whatever your preference is. No worries, it will all get sorted.
Okay I just accidentally merge 2 of the wrong books SMH* I am so sorry! Can y'all unmerge them?

I've also switched to the new editions but they're now showing up first on my profile? the old editions are?
They are separate Series. I get that but they go to 2 different series and the story is actually very different. Please I did not request these 2 to be merged. The first one(Happy ending Resort series) is a very short version almost like a prequel and doesn't go with the 2nd book in the elsewhere series: Goldilocks
In other words, please I do not want them merge. Please separate them. I know the description seems the same but they're not.

Profile pages are cached and it may take a while for recent changes to display.

And additionally to Emily the default edition you set will not! be the one you see in your author dashboard (that can't be seen by users).
Librarians can't help you with setting the default - we don't have access to that feature, in case you have problems with that you need to contact support.
And yes, as a reader it is pretty confusing having several books with the exact same title by an author.
Hence the different Series Titles that way my readers don't get confused
