So my home state is California. I’m going to read a book set in Trio’s home state, New York.

AliciaJ wrote: "So my home state is California. I’m going to read a book set in Trio’s home state, New York."Unfortunately, the Q&A thread says we all have to pick the same State. So either California, Ohio or New York.
Looks like Aliciaj has chosen New York. I can read NY, Can you Trio?
I'm off to bed but if you ladies decide on another state, that's fine I can find a book for any of them.
Ok, thanks Barbara. I thought we each picked a state of one of our teammates. I’m good with anything really, I just picked New York cuz I have more books set there than Ohio. But if anyone wants to read one of the other states, that’s totally fine. What do you think Trio?

FYI for the future - in your qualification, I need to know how you know your book qualifies. Just saying 'set in NY' isn't enough - I need to know if it is in the book details, tagged, on a list, in the precis. Basically, I need to know where to look to confirm your book. 😊

Please include the cover in your qualification. If you have any questions please ask.

I am overlooking this and not doing the math, but wanted to make sure you all knew going forward.
And Trio - four?! That's awesome!
Here is your next task:31. Read

Yesterday was my day off and I read three books. This one was started at 9:30 pm which is why I was up so late reading it. The task was posted at 6:52 pm so I did start after it was posted. I just didn't see the task until I posted my completion.

So we each just need to read one book by a male author?

Yes we each read 1 book.
I'm going to read The Crown Tower by Michael J. Sullivan because I need to read it for another challenge.ETA: my ebook wouldn't open so I had to change to another book
I found two that would work but I've read them both already and I'm not in a mood for a re-read.

Professions such as law enforcement officers or musicians are fine. Just don't try to pass off both a rancher and a chef as in the food industry. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count!
Sounds good, what do you guys think? Law enforcement or lawyer or teacher/professor? Farmer, clergy?
If we do lawyer, I could reread Try, (382 pgs), my favorite Ella Frank book. So if you guys are good with lawyers, that would be my pick. By the way, sorry for not getting here sooner. I was doing math with my little brother. He’s in middle school, so we were doing algebra. Ugh. I haven’t done polynomials since I was in high school, about a thousand years ago! LOL
haha, totally no problem Alicia, I'm still in the middle of another audiobook I really need to finish and review before I can start another one.Lawyer works great for me, I'd like to do Boyfriend Material - the only problem is that book is really long. I'll see if I can find something a bit shorter.
