SOLVED. Discovering fairy kingdom. [s]

I have been looking for this book that I read in 2012 or 2013 from my middle school library but have had no luck. It was a fantasy novel about a young girl who lived on what I believe was a farm next to a wood that was too overgrown and thick for anyone to enter. One night the girl heard a noise coming from her barn or she’d and went to investigate. She found an injured fairy like horse (not sure if it was a Pegasus) that could speak to her. For weeks she tended to its injuries and once it was healed, it agreed to take her into the forest. They entered through a small hidden opening in the woods into a fairy kingdom where the girl would meet the queen and I believe the held her captive. That’s all I can remember
