J.T. Harding (tessharding) | 3 comments Just wanted to get in on the act and say Hi. I have a couple of erotic books available right now, with more planned. Still trying to work out what my favorite subject area is, but one of them fits right in here, I hope.

Great to see so many interesting characters here.

Actually I am looking for something more paranormal. The scarier the better :D

Alexis (alexisshore) | 3 comments Hi,

I'm Alexis and I write erotica. I have to confess I enjoy writing F/F scenes the most though, so I thought I'd join up and get your recommendations for some steamy books to inspire me.

thank you!

Matthew Brown (matthewjbrown) | 1 comments Hello there.

I'm Matt, a 38 year old Englishman in Southern California. I'm a writer-in-progress and I seem to write a lot of lesbian and bi women in my fiction, probably because most of the women I know are. Alas, nothing published yet. My preferred genre is fantasy, and there's a serious dearth of well-written lesbian or bi women and F/F romance or erotica in fantasy — among what I've read, at least.

Glad to meet you all.

Louisa Bacio (louisabacio) | 2 comments Hello all,

I'm relatively new to the group. I am an author, and one of my "genres" is f/f. My latest release is Sex University: All-Girls Academy, and I also was in the Sugar & Spice: Kinky Stories of Girl on Girl and I Kissed a Girl #1. Although my story in I Kissed A Girl also featured m/f/f and f/f/m/m, which some readers didn't expect.

It's a great field to be in, and so many people have mentioned how it's about to "go" like the popularity of m/m romance. We'll see.

I also have a m/m/f erotic paranormal release, "The Vampire, The Witch & The Werewolf: A New Orleans Threesome," and right now I'm working on the sequel to that book.

Actually have a contest going through the end of the month on Lisa Sanchez's blog where I'm giving away a .pdf copy of my latest:

http://www.lisasanchezromanceauthor.c...

Look forward to getting to know you all better,

Louisa

Kieran (kieranmacleod) | 1 comments Hey guys. My name is Meg and I'm over in lovely Rhode Island. I am, as Kim from Alabama said, 100% bisexual. I read and write both M/M and F/F fiction, and I was quite pleased to see an F/F group going. I also do some freelance editing.

Also, for those looking for some good F/F fiction - it's not out yet, but keep an eye out at www.lessthanthreepress.com for Vixen. It's an anthology of F/F stories. It's the first of it they're putting out as the rest of the work is primarily M/M (some of it very good M/M.)

✟Roxanne✟(Death by Book Avalanche) ☠ (dark_angel_3090) Hi everyone! I'm Roxy and I'm from the UK. I love to read all sorts of books but I favour horror, gay and lesbian and erotica novels. I joined this group as my knowledge of F/F romance novels out there is very limited and so hopefully this group will be able to help me discover more authors and books.

message 83: by B.L. (new)

B.L. Newport (blnewport) Hi everyone! I'm B.L. Newport and I've just found this group. I've been on Goodreads for the past couple of days looking for more GLBT groups and I found this one! :) I'm an avid reader pretty much across the board of genres, so I'm always on the look out for something new.

I am also the author of the "Reapers, Inc." series available on Amazon.com (print) and Smashwords.com (e-book). There are three books available at present, but books 4 & 5 are mapping themselves out to be written soon.

"Reapers, Inc." begins with "Brigit's Cross" where we are introduced to Brigit Malone, a 30-something lesbian that is killed on the eve of her ten-year anniversary to her partner, Maggie Devon. Brigit agrees to become the Grim Reaper's assistant in order to keep the promise to be with Maggie until the last breath is drawn. The adventures begin with various assignments that teach Brigit lessons and introduce characters that Brigit would never have thought to have met while she was alive, including a homophobic, homicidal spirit named Seamus Flannery.

Book 2 is "Rogue Reaper". The adventure steps up as Brigit and the Grim Reaper (John Blackwick) are expanding the "Reapers, Inc." firm. Seamus Flannery is the reaper in charge of Dangerous Assignments and he's bent on revenge toward Brigit. When he's temporarily given the title of "Bailey" (the actual death angel) he takes advantage of it to kidnap Maggie. When Brigit is told, she risks her immortal soul to save the one person that matters the most to her.

Book 3 is "Dark Souls". In the weeks following the events of "Rogue Reaper" there has been a shuffling of responsibilities to make up for Brigit's being out of commission. Mama Dee, who normally oversees the Children's Department, is the temporary assistant. When she takes on an assignment that is more than she can handle, a door to Hell is accidently left open. When some souls escape, Brigit, John and the available reapers are charged with cleaning up the mess. Aided by two Immortals, the reapers must race to corral the escaped dark souls before they can wreak havoc on the living.

Also available on Smashwords are 2 short stories set in the fictional town of Mackleberry Ridge where a normal day can present amusing situations. This is a lighter side to my imagination and meant to make people smile. An outline is set for a full length novel featuring character Val Mackleberry, a lesbian returning home after 10 years of trying to define herself. I also have the bones to a few other projects slowly placing themselves together that will keep me very busy with pen and paper for quite awhile.

I look forward to getting to know everyone here. Thanks for making this group!

Katey Hawthorne (kateyhawthorne) | 4 comments I've been lurking for months now. I'm Katey -- I read alllll kinds of romance, horror, fantasy, and sci-fi. Write it all too, but under this pen name I stick to queer romance with a big kick of paranormal/UF. Think comic books, but about romance. :D

This group has already been an awesome resource for me, so I figured I should actually, like, say something. Hi!

And hi, Elise, I'm one state down! Just out side the District in Arlington, VA.

Lo | 2 comments Hey everyone I stubled across your discussion by accident and found it very interesing and insightful. I like reading f/f, m/m, menage, bdsm, and everything in between. I have a soft spot for regency and would love to find some f/f/m regency if anyone has any ideas.

message 89: by Lo (new)

Lo | 2 comments I know exactly what you mean I feel the same way. It is so hard to find books that are a good fit for me. I tend to have to read lots of different genres to fill my needs. Too bad someone couldn't pack it all into one book.

I wanted to introduce myself to the group and also let you folks know that I recently created a giveaway for Best Lesbian Erotica 2012, which features my story "Come to Me." I just discovered Marie-Elise Bassett who writes f/f regencies. They're easy to read and feel authentic. Plus the romance between the women is written nicely.

M A | 1 comments Hello, everyone. I'm M.A. and I enjoy reading and reviewing good f/f or f/f/m romance and erotic romance. Sometimes I attempt writing it, too, usually in the historical or paranormal genres.

I was skimming over the last few posts in this thread concerning Marie-Elise Bassett's historical short fiction. I'm reading those right now and I've found them enchanting. : )

Hi Jenna -- the group does seem to have faded out, doesn't it? Maybe we can get some messages posted and get it going again.

I'm Marie, a lesbian author, interested in reading all sorts of f/f stories when I'm not tied up writing. I'm in the US, FL, working hard on my second novel. The first should be coming out early next year. What kind of things do you read?

message 97: by Cathy (new)

Cathy Pegau (cathyinak) | 15 comments Hi Jenna and Mel,

I've noticed the fade too. I don't read a lot of F/F erotica, but do read and write more on the sensual vs. graphic side of things.

GL Roberts (gl_roberts) | 3 comments Hi All,
I'm GL and currently I write F/F and M/M romance. I also read both! Guess I'm a softy for love stories. I did notice there is not a lot going on with the group, but I'm going to hang around anyway :) I hail from the Pacific Northwest.

message 100: by GL (new)

GL Roberts (gl_roberts) | 3 comments Hi Mel,
I don't self-publish...yet. I've got an editor/publisher for two of my m/m romance stories. Have not yet found a home for my f/f story. If I run into any calls for submissions, I'll post here and let you know. We can toss our stuff in and see what happens :)
