How is that series? I've yet to read it, mostly because I hear such mixed reviews on it.

I finished
by Jason Greensides and loved it. I'm now reading
by Luke Phillips and finding it hard to put down. Both are extremely well-written Indie books.

Cloak of Shadows by CK Dawn. I think it would class as YA or new adult. Great characters, female protagonists fighting against these demon-like creatures that come into our world.
I'm slowly chomping my way through
which is fantastic! You should all give The Lunar Chronicles a try, they're so fun.
I'm working very slowly, only because I don't want it to end, on
. Everyone should read this whole series! I'm 23 and still love it. It is very obviously geared toward high school kids, and is at that reading level, but I love the story line! :D

I have just started The Girl from Kraków by Alex Rosenburg. Not sure about it at the moment but I'll see how it goes as I've only just started
I am currently reading The 5th Wave and it is awesome! I'm excited to see what they do with the movie adaptation that is coming out on January 22nd.
I recently finished
. It's a fable of sorts. Wasn't sure I'd like it, but it pulled me in. Also just finished
. Had to switch back to a mystery for a time. Loved the original author's series. There's one leap in this book that stood out as unrealistic to me, but otherwise, very well done and in the same theme as the original. Now, on to
. I've been meaning to read this one for a while.
Currently reading Matched by Ally Condie. It's adorable, and although I'm kind of sick of dystopians, it has a fairly original plot, which is nice.@Cheryl, just remember to link to the book in your comment. :)
Fire Study I'm currently reading Fire Study by Maria V Snyder - It's a pretty good plot. It's the third of the study series and they're pretty hard to put down.
We read that in like our first month as a group... everyone seemed disappointed. I still haven't bothered to read the next in the series...
OH MY GOD. My phone literally autocorrected intriguing to interesting, because I slightly messed it up. *facepalm* It actually was a bit of a let-down. It was anti-climactic and boring in a LOT of parts, and I've heard the series only goes downhill from here... :(
January's book Speak which I had read in high school ( I believe every freshman should have to) and I loved the book then and now that I'm 23 I love the boom even more. I clean for 3 women about my age and all have this book laying out. I am also reading a book my mother pressured me into but has turned out to be quite good. The title of the boom has floored me at the moment but its by Charles Stanley and its on how GOD has a plan for our lives. He makes the book very simple to read almost childishly easy but that is the reason I love it. He wrote the book so that everyone can understand what he is saying.
I'm currently reading...a few things. I'll just mention 3:1. Queen of Shadows from the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I've gobbled them up! Very exciting reads even if some of the softer, mushy parts were only "meh" :)
2. Grace for the Good Girl by Emily P. Freeman. It's a Christian non-fiction about "letting go of the try-hard life" and I'm enjoying it.
3. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix- reading through the series again and still love it.
Hannah - I agree about Speak -- good read, especially for a new high schooler or college freahman. Another one by the same author is Wintergirls. It's about a girl with an eating disorder and is also a good read.
Just finished a book called the Orphan Train. What a touchy story. I had no idea about the orphan train until I read this book. When a child is orphaned, they're placed on a train to be taken to a place where people who are interested in having a child and all they have to do is sign a paper & they get the child with no questions asked. Sometimes a child is placed with a perfect family while other aren't so perfect. A very good read and I would recommend it.
That's realllly interesting, Alexis. I tried to look it up, but you didn't include the author's name, and there a LOT of books called Orphan Train. Would you mind giving me the author? Thanks. :D
im currently reading Dexter by Design. Its the 4th book in the series. For some reason i dont find the series all that great so far but i still cant stop reading them. The book is actually getting pretty intresting so far.
I finished a couple days ago The Night Circus . It was new to me how she wrote the book, keeping up with dates, but I did like it. Was a bit slow at first but then you get into the characters.
