Kirsty Oops I haven't updated in a while. I'm currently reading A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas and enjoying it quite a bit. Went in with an open mind though and didn't read the blurb encase it built up my expectations I just know the bare minimum it has mortals and fairies and it's apparently a beauty and the beast retelling.

message 288: by Grace Meredith (new)

Grace Meredith (koreantrash) I'm reading To All the Boys I've Loved Before (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #1) by Jenny Han , and people this book is so cute and funny. I really didn't think I'd laugh, but Lara-Jean is just so silly. I love this pretending boyfriend thing that she's doing with Peter Kravitz, to show Genevieve that the world isn't hers. TEAMWORK!

message 289: by Bella (new)

Bella Schuster Right now I'm reading The Power of One for school. I am enjoying it but I'm having trouble with the writing. I feel that Bryce Courtenay tries too hard when he's explaining situations and when I just want the story to move on I end up having to read three pages just dedicated on how the dirt looks that day. Another book I'm reading is Da Vinci Code, also for school. I defiantly enjoying this book even though I am not that far into it! Lastly, for a read just to enjoy I am reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the first time!! I'm really enjoying this read and I can't wait until I find more time to read it.

The Distant Sound of Violence by Jason Greensides
The book is about consequences. Not a flashy story, but very well done.

I've started it a couple of days ago, too, but I'm not a fan of the book yet. I hope that changes, though.
