There is a book called Copper Sun which is about the slave trade. But I'll come up with something, I'm sure. Challenge accepted. Thank you!

I did not know there was a book called Copper Sun, is it any good?

I haven't read it. I just know about it because the movie came out in 2011. Didn't watch the movie either. It's meant to be alright. It's told from the point of view of an African girl who gets taken from Africa with a whole lot of others and brought to America as a slave. That's all I could tell from the movie and I've heard that the book was quite good - it won an award for something.

Also - all done and ready to read in my Writing Challenges Completed folder. :)

He drowsed and was aware of silence heaped
Round him, unshaken as the steadfast walls;

Someone was holding water to his mouth.
He swallowed, unresisting; moaned and dropped
