Also, could I get another challenge by any chance? :)

Well, this will be exciting - I know very little about Boston, but I'm sure I can do this, already have some ideas. So, I'm on the case!

I just want the beginning of a novel so however long you want it to be a 5-10 paragraphs I'd say
Tessa, since you've been so kind to put up a thousand writing challenges for us every time we come begging, I've come up with a challenge for you. You don't have to do it, but I thought you might be able to pull off something interesting.(view spoiler)
I'll take another challenge too if you want. :)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Oh no, someone else knows how extremely lazy I am!!!!!!!!!

A small teaser for the short story I am going to write for Em's challenge...
You always told me to be myself, to never give in to the stereotypes, the lies. Everyone always told me what to do, who to be, but you never did. You were my lifeline, the one point holding me, keeping me from falling off the cliff. Keeping me from becoming the person everyone else saw me as. And now, you're gone.

Mine is going to be pretty sad, I think?
Ohh is it posted? I'm gonna go read it if it is. Mine should be up sometime tonight.
So this is my response to Em's challenge. I also recommend reading her reponse, which is in her folder
This is also in my Stories I may or maynot continue folder

Aw!!! That's super sweet! Your interpretation is unique, it definitely isn't something I would've come up with.
Do you mind telling me what you think it was about. I want to see if I was able to convey my message. Don't worry I won't blame you if it's not what I pictured.

I guess the picture just made me kind of sad. Then I wanted to do the weird 2nd person POV, because I've never really done it. It all just sort of evolved from there.

Hey Em, do you mind telling me how to pronounce Arimeda, I am confusing myself trying to.
Close, this is a story about a black boy in the early 1900s. He lives with his mom in a predominately white community. They moved there six years ago and he became the only black kid in his class. He was constantly segregated and the girl, Arimeda became his only freind. While there was nothing romantic going on between them, her parents and pretty much everyone else disapproved of their relationship. When she died he felt like his whole world was coming apart, but he got it together in the end. This is him talking to her grave.
The MED-ah, may be my fault. Afterall, I did call her Meda alot.

*head desk* I can't believe I didn't make the connections.

I thought I'd let you know that I chose to rewrite Rumpelstiltskin. Don't really know how it will turn out yet. I always plan my writing out in my head, but when I try to plan this story out something doesn't quite add up. So I guess we will see what happens. Should have a teaser up soon and the full story up in a few days.

Yay! I love the tale of Rumpelstiltskin, but I think he needs more justice. I wrote a poem about my 'version' of Rumpelstiltskin, it's one of my favorites. I look forward to seeing it up!
Ohhh, Do you still have that poem. I'd love to read it.
