"Yeah, I guess that's true." Mae smiled as she looked at all of the sketches. "Wow, you're underestimating yourself. These are really good!"

"Really? Thanks. " Lisbeth said surprised. She wished she was a five. If Mae was telling the truth she'd have been able to get a lot more money than as a seven.
"Don't thank me, I'm not lying. These are incredible!" Mae handed them back to her. They really were amazing pictures.
"Well, here, you can look at these, if you want." Mae handed Lisbeth the sheet music she was holding.
"I could hum if for you, if you want." Mae said, knowing that she most likely couldn't read the notes. Most people couldn't, unless they were musicians as well.
Mae started humming a tune in minor key. It sounded somewhat creepy, almost, but it was beautiful at the same time.
"It is. " Lisbeth replied, feeling slightly bad because she knew she wasn't supposed to disagree with higher castes
(( Laura, its your post for the RP Thread ))
(It's ok. :)" um. No. "Lisbeth confessed, knowing that as soon as she did he'd probably kick her out. " you?"
Mae nodded. "He's wonderful. But…not exactly in a prince-y way. He acts like any regular boy would. He taught me how to whistle." Mae laughed again.
"I don't know. I don't want to get my hopes up with 34 other girls here, that's a lot to choose from. Why would he like me in particular?"
"I don't know. Did he do anything which maybe indicated he didn't like you? He's probably seen a lot of girls by now and if he doesn't seem bored then that's a good start for you."
"So what you did he obviously found interesting. " Lisbeth didnt know why she was talking this much.
Lisbeth restrained herself from saying Doubt it. because she wasn't supposed to disagree with higher castes. The prince would not be interested in a lowland seven.
Mae saw the doubt in her face. "Look, I know you're a Seven," she said quietly. "But of what I know of him, he isn't like that. He won't judge you because of your caste."
"Everyone judges me because of my caste. " she replied dryly, in a quiet tone. " it's the way life works. "
"I don't. And I swear, I really don't think he will. Just show him who you really are, don't let him kick you out just because of some invisible line that divides us all. You can't help being born into it more than he can help being born a prince."
"Hmph " Lisbeth didnt really think that. There was obviously something her family had done to make her a seven.
Mae felt bad for Lisbeth. Five was a bad title, but Seven was crazy. She didn't believe int he caste systems, though. They were unnecessary and just irrelevant. She hoped the price actually did just look past Lisbeth's title, because she was a very kind girl.
Lisbeth tucked her knees into her chest, relishing in the free time which usually didnt exist for her. She opened the pad and took out her pencil. Well, her lead stick.
