This was a pretty complicated case involving a lot of people. When did you begin to put together that it involved a Special Forces operation? When did you figure out that Ethan was the reporter who was captured?

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments When the Army showed up to take away the Sacramento victim, thinking he was their AWOL soldier and murder suspect, I wondered if the previous victims were also military.

Ethan had a dream or flashback about writing down his thoughts while he was in Afghanistan with the Delta Force. I thought it was a weird thing to do if he was supposed to be working a mission. As soon as Padre explained who was on the mission and mentioned a reporter, I knew that the reporter was Ethan.

It took me a bit longer but when Scout was murdered, it clicked for me. I even wondered for a time was it an op that Jack was on, too. Scout was the one who provided clarity about the targeted group.

As soon as Scout mentioned the reporter that was left behind, I immediately thought that’s who Ethan was.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1205 comments That's about the way my thoughts ran, too. Ethan was clearly full of himself as a young reporter and had no training about taking orders in the field; he did not trust the military guys to come back for him.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Same here. It wasn't until Scout was tortured and killed in the same manner that it clicked that it was a Special Forces op that went wrong that was the basis for the revenge.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments To be honest, I didn't figure any of it out until it was revealed. I should have put 2 and 2 together like Robin did with Ethan's flashback. I did think is was weird that he was writing things down.
