02 February: a book with the word “love” (or variation of) in the title
03 March: a book about a woman (or women) in history
04 April: historical fiction NOT set in WWII
05 May: a microhistory (Microhistory is the intensive historical investigation of a well defined smaller unit of research (most often a single event, community of a village, family or person).)
06 June: a medical scientific thriller
07 July: a book that takes place in a city that has hosted the olympics
08 August: a book about books
09 September: a novel based on a true story
10 October: a book originally written in another language
11 November: a retelling if a fairytale, myth or classic
12 December: a book with an unreliable narrator
