February 1, 2020 - February 29, 2020

This month we are exploring Caracas, capital of Venezuela. A big THANK YOU goes to our Wanderlust Member, Bryony for creating this month's challenge.
Caracas-Skyline-2
Visitors to Venezuela often pass through Caracas on the way to famous sights such as Angel Falls, but the city also has plenty of interesting sights, from spectacular parks and walking trails to renowned museums and theatres. Let’s take a look at some of the top places to visit.

✱ Caracas is located in a valley and is surrounded by steep mountains, this provides some spectacular views but also means there is little space for the city to expand.
✱ The city is officially named Santiago de León de Caracas, and its residents are known as Caraquenos.
✱ With almost three million residents, Caracas is the seventh largest urban area in the continent.
✱ Football (soccer) and baseball are popular sports in Caracas and the city is home to no less than six professional football teams!

Choose a level and enjoy your visit!
Day Tripper: 4 Attractions
Explorer: 5-6 Attractions

Challenge Rules: All forms of books are accepted as long as they are 100 pages or more. When posting updates of completed books, please include a link to the title and author’s name, along with the date you finished reading the book. Please post cover if it is task appropriate. When you have completed the challenge, please copy and paste your entire challenge and repost in a new message, letting us know it is completed.
