Vivian Wolkoff | 158 comments TBR: .*for the first time in forever, I actually have a TBR*
Nevermind! Forget I said that!

Currently reading: The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed Deadly Little Scandals (Debutantes, #2) by Jennifer Lynn Barnes Just One Damned Thing After Another (The Chronicles of St Mary's, #1) by Jodi Taylor The Anatomist's Wife (Lady Darby Mystery, #1) by Anna Lee Huber

7/1-3: I finished The Extremely Inconvenient Adventures of Bronte Mettlestone and read the first 10% of Just One Damned Thing After Another.
7/4: 0 pages
7/5: I listened to about 50% of Foundation as I meal prepped.
7/6-10: I'm having a hard time carving out time to read this month (that often happens when I'm writing a new book). Still, I got to 35% of Just One Damned Thing After Another and 75% of Foundation.
7/11: Restarted Frankenstein, this time reading along with the audiobook.
7/12: Finished Foundation.
7/13: 0 pages
7/14: I decided to ditch the TBR (and the readathon I was reading it for) and pick some something light and fun. I should know better than to do an intense readathon while fast drafting a book. Long story short, I started and read the first 15% of The Bromance Book Club.
7/15: I read another 15% of The Bromance Book Club.
7/16: I gave myself the afternoon off to read. I read up to 60% of The Bromance Book Club and I listened again to the first 20% of Frankenstein -- thank heavens for the audiobook because I was struggling with this one!
7/17: I read another 15% of The Bromance Book Club, I'm currently 75% into this book. I read/ listened to another 10% of Frankenstein. I'm currently 30% into it.
7/18: I finished Binti.
7/19-22: In the past few days I finished Frankenstein and I got up to 50% of Orion Lost.
7/23-28: Made progress on the books I was reading.
07/29: Finished Orion Lost.
7/30: Finished The Dark Days ClubThe Bromance Book Club.
7/31: Started The Anatomist's Wife.

Hi everyone,

I can't believe we are almost halfway through the month. How is everyone?

So my question for the month. If you were to pick one book that you feel you must read in your lifetime (and haven't yet), which book would it be?

For me it would be Middlemarch by George Eliot

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I read it years ago but I want to read it again at some point.

Kat, I am with you on Harlen Coben. He is someone I have wanted to read for a long time.

Leticia, I find myself struggling to read anything that isn't a light read. My attention span is still very short. I don't have the patience for deeper books.
