Historical romance fiction where the hero is a pirate and he along with his crew where bird masks as a disguise

The book takes during colonial America and I think during the revolutionary war. The heroine is kidnapped by the hero who is a pirate, he along with his crew members where bird masks. The hero is either a hawk or falcon. One of the crew is a stork and anthor a sparrow I believe. He leaves her at their hide out at one point and she eventually is able to take off his mask while he sleeps and discovers who he is. I think there may be treasure involved as well.

I’m pretty sure I read the book on my kindle and it has been about 5 years ago.
