The protagonist is a recent high school graduate with a passion for photography. When her mother dies, her grandmother disowns her as she isn't a "blood relative". The protagonist heads to Ireland with her boyfriend to find her birth parents. I remember lots of scenes in Ireland at a hot spring, and I remember her birth father being a priest.
