Thanks Rachel. We'll probably be okay, but it's nice to have a backup for every word.
Brooklyn wrote: "Can we use the same book for two words in the mini challenge? I noticed one of my books was listed twice."Nope, I switched your book and didn't delete the original note. Fixed now, thanks for the head's up.

I checked and the book is over 25,000 words so we can use it for the challenge. Are you able to read it Rachel?
Brooklyn wrote: "Finished The Valedictorian of Being Dead. SS updated...I also added some options for the mini challenge."Thanks Brooklyn. We are so close to being done our regular cards!
Paula wrote: "Hello, I'm on vacation this week and my internet is mainly gone, I'll be back on Saturday anyway.I hope all your readings are going great!"
Hope you are having a fantastic vacation Paula.
Added two books to the ss.Just Desserts - absolutely terrible book, but it had a spoon on the cover :)
The Testaments - finally and I ended up really liking it until the final chapter which sucked away all my good will.

I can read it. It's a short 200 or so pages. It was a good movie too but it's been forever since I saw it.

Yes, I will get it from the library. I haven't read Nancy Drew in probably 25 years.

That's awful. That happens too often with books lately.

Omgosh I love this. I also love madeleines.
I have found books for passion fruit and starfruit. I'm reading one of them now, in spurts, but I honestly don't know which one I'm reading until I re-find the word. :D

Completion PostAmericanized: Rebel Without a Green Card - not worth much but it was published in February to cover 2
Erica wrote: "Lean On Me Pat Simmons - Book 1(Family is Forever series) for the 1 card"Thanks Erica. You still have to mark read dates on all your books please.

I just pick random books that I have on my shelves and check them on amazon. Sometimes I get lucky. :D

Great. I found stomach virus in it too.
If you go to amazon (have to be on the full website, notMobile) you can choose your book and click the look in side graphic and then there is a search bar to the left. It will tell you if and where any word you search appears in the book.
No one is reading for kiwifruit or sugar yet, if anyone wants to search for a mini-challenge term. :D
Allison Ann wrote: "No one is reading for kiwifruit or sugar yet, if anyone wants to search for a mini-challenge term. :D"I can read
for sugar...the cover has sugar cones. Would that work?
I am working on On the Come Up which is the author's second book. Will that work for the mini for 2? It was also published 2/19
Denise wrote: "I am working on On the Come Up which is the author's second book. Will that work for the mini for 2?"I've read that, so it works for reverse if we still need any.
Denise wrote: "I am working on On the Come Up which is the author's second book. Will that work for the mini for 2? It was also published 2/19"Second book only works for series, but 2 should work for the February published date.
Or perhaps kiwi? Or starfruit? Or passionfruit? :D

Thanks Nicole! I was wondering how you were all working your magic.
Amazon's system is imperfect. I searched for the word blood which comes up a good amount in my audiobook, Sadie. It only found it 3 times. Its definitely there WAAAAAY more than that. So perhaps I have some hope with the Crazy Rich Asians book and the exotic fruit.

Brooklyn wrote: "Struggling to find anything for starfruit, passionfruit or kiwifruit. Ugh!"I'm almost done with passionfruit, so don't worry about that one.
We can use kiwi by itself.
We still need limes and pen. And a 1 or 3 in series.

Eggs on page 235"
Thanks Alissa. And if you can read for corn flour, that would be fantastic. I've found several corn starch books, but nothing with flour. And if you don't want to read the book, I'm sure someone else can.
