Monique Grant writes mostly fluff pieces for a magazine. Hollywood star Evelyn Hugo has decided she wants a biography written covering her life and for unknown reasons chooses Monique to write it. I found Evelyn's story very interesting, though she wasn't always likeable, and as in the other book I've read by this author I could believe Evelyn was a real actress. I thought Monique's story was rather boring so it lowered my rating of the book a bit. Early on the book took a turn I didn't expect and it made the book much more interesting to me.
