Kenzie Lewis | 4 comments Is the manga better than the movie series? I loved the first 2 movies but there wasnt really anything leading up to the last one. It was just a hard turn in the opposite direction seemingly out of nowhere and I was not a fan. I assume the manga has more 'meat' to it? More backstory and a more detailed plot?

Sandra | 3 comments The manga is quite gritty and well drawn and the animators have done a good job of bringing the characters to life in the movie versions, so I have to say I like both.

Bayonip | 5 comments I haven't read the manga yet, so I can't say anything.

N.E.C.C. | 17 comments I don't know anything abiout the anime but i'm reading the mang right now (10 volumes in) and it's already one of the best manga i've read in my life.

For what i heard, the movies are good. You should probably do both (if you can).

I've watched the movies and fell in love with them which inspired me to read the manga. I've read up to volume 5 I believe before taking a break.

If you like the movies then you'll love the manga. A fair warning; the manga does not begin the same way the movies do however don't let that throw you off. The story is riveting and we learn more of Gut's backstory and life before he became the ruthless killer that he is today.

Of course, lots of trigger warnings ahead. Be weary of mentions of rape, suicide, and abuse. The Berserk manga does not hold back with exposing the evils of humanity.

Roger Herriott | 1 comments I have heard nothing but good things about the manga. I own it but have not started it yet because, chances are, I'll end up binging it.
