the_rabid_snail | 14 comments I’m going to make a magician, but I was wondering if it was possible to create just a normal human character with no powers?

Of course!

the_rabid_snail | 14 comments Sorry, just had a couple more questions.
Is magic among humans hereditary? That is, would a child of a magician be likely to be a magician as well because they inherited the ability, or is magic not something passed through blood in humans? If it is blood-related, would children of magicians have the same or similar powers as their parent or parents, or would they be free to have different powers? Since humans can have only one ability, is it innate, or because they have to develop their power, can they choose one magic to study?
Last question: did the angels and fallen angels have children with mortals before they were imprisoned? Just asking because in most lore, angels had children with humans.

Np questions are good!
Magic is hereditary and is certain gifts are generally passed along certain blood lines. Angels can have children with humans, the offspring being something with a magical quirk. So they can't chose a gift but they can study it and fine tune their magical affinity.
Hope that helped :)

the_rabid_snail | 14 comments Thank you! Since it's hereditary, would the magical power of individuals be diluted if they had a non-magician parent or other non-magician ancestors?

So not really but the spark can be weak in a parent but strong in the child and so on and so forth
