Iris Sword (irissword) | 5 comments Hello,

I have a new cover for this book: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

Can someone add my updated one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...

I can also provide a direct link.

Hello Iris, I can see your title is still in pre-order status on Amazon.com. Was the original cover image uploaded to Goodreads ever used on Advance Reader Copies or otherwise distributed to readers?

(Sorry for butting in Albert, I just want to check if an ACE book record was needed in this case).

Iris Sword (irissword) | 5 comments Nope! It’s only been on Amazon as a pre-order because I’m enrolling it exclusively with their unlimited program

annob | 1520 comments Thank you for your reply, Iris. Since the first uploaded cover image was never distributed on a book version that was published nor distributed on ARC editions, this is one of the rare situations where Goodreads policy allows a cover image to be deleted.

I have now reverted the creation of the Alternate Cover book record, and updated the original book record to match the current pre-order cover image found on Amazon.com. One of the two editions of 'Ascendant' will be completely gone from your author page within a day or two. No user shelvings/ratings/reviews were lost in this process, they're all transferred to the remaining book record.

annob | 1520 comments Glad to hear Albert, it's true for all of us. I still learn how to handle new special cases from others the same way :)
