I enjoyed the book and it surprised me in that I wasn't expecting quite as much action/violence. It was very intense. I did feel less connected to Mara in this book compared to the other two, and she scared me at times. It was sad that the parents and siblings weren't as involved in this novel, but I can understand why. The ending was satisfying enough for me. My favourite part was probably the first part with the (view spoiler)
I liked the book but I found I couldn't rave about it, the ending was so un satisfying and I still had plenty of questions! Not my favorite!
I felt a bit cheated about the ending. It was this huge build up from all three books and then it just fizzled out. I did expect a bit more. I think there was a lot left open. I may have to go back and marathon the whole series ( of which I am sure I will do at a later date). I still really enjoyed the book though. I just felt it didn't end well.
I really liked the book, but the end was not satisfying. This was my favirote series and to not know if they actully stay together is...ugh!!! Also I dont know if I liked stella in the book.overall it was a good book!!

It did not stop me from enjoying the book but it was a bit disappointing.
the end was good / okay, but it left behind many / few unanswered questions.and it feels like there's a little more to tell about the series .. like this book is not reaaly the end.
ex. Mara's grandmother was immortal, does it also means that Mara is immortal? ( i didnt get that part)
I think the book was terrible....no one bothered by the fact that Mara is all evil but no one seems to care?? I was hoping they would part ways at the end for the greater purpose...I was not expecting them to be so selfish and immature. I hated Noah's character on this book and hated Mara even more. Disappointing
I'm halfway through this book right now. I'm enjoying it except when Mara is acting whinny. Also the absence of a certain character is making the book not as good as the last two.
What is it about final books in a series lately? They seem such a letdown. I didn't find this one as bad as Allegiant but it still had a lot of plotholes.
This book was so weird. Kinda in a good way but not, ya know? I was rly mad at Noah and the fact that he's a GINORMOUS disappointment along with a huge no-show for like 2/3 of the book. I like Daniel tho. He's nice.
I do not know if I should read the final book, what are your advises? Should I finish this series? Is it worth it?
Dyanna, I'd finish it if I were you. Like I said earlier, it's not as bad as Allegiant but the way it tied up a lot of loose ends didn't really seem like sufficient answers to those questions. However, there are some answers there, so if you're curious, give it a try.
