WorldCat has 471 pages for this edition: https://www.worldcat.org/title/david-... Do you have a copy of the book? Could you tell what is on pages 471-480?
Hi there, I do own a copy, the information from Worldcat is incorrect.The essay ends at p.471, and from p.472 to p.479 are photographs just like the most of the book, and p.480 is the copyright page.
Thank you for your reply! According to the Librarian Manual, all content should be included except for the advertising and preview chapters for other books. But it refers to textual content (aknowlegements, indexes, etc.), not photos. Copyright page is also not countable.
I guess WorldCat logic is the same in this case and takes the last page with countable text content, which is p.471.
We use Amazon information about page count for Kindle edition, but in case of print books, WorldCat is preferable.
I can add it according to WorldCat, if there are no corrections from other librarians.

As long as these follow the numbered pages (rather than being at the beginning), and are content related to the book itself, I see no reason these should not be counted.

Hi, many thanks for the replies!The book doesn't have index or acknowledgements, from the very first page there are stills from the movie, and occasionally there would be little comments on the photo or quotes from people.
The essay by Paul Duncan starts from p.353 and it ends at p.471(including the German and the French translations)
