Not crime, but I'm enjoying Charles Yu's Interior Chinatown.
As far as mystery reading goes, I'm eagerly awaiting my copy of The Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji which Book Depository said was on its way. After that, I start working on the Colección El Séptimo Círculo list of crime novels published by Borges and Adolfo Bioy Casares between 1945 and 1956. In English, not in Spanish.
Sadly, a number of the books are long out of print, but I'll muddle through with what I can get.

My review of The Conjure-Man Dies: A Harlem Mystery: The first ever African-American crime novel by Rudolph Fisherhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm enjoying Agent 6 by Tom Rob Smith and The Coroner by M.R. Hall. I've also been focusing on Nevil Shute this month and am reading a 'prophetic warning' about the danger of WWII and air raids against England, What Happened to the Corbetts. It's sort of a precursor to his later work which warned about the danger of nuclear war, On the Beach.
I just finished listening to The Wives

Finished Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu (fantastic, if a bit strange); starting The Public Burning by Robert Coover and getting ahead of my Christmas reading a bit early with The First Leonaur Christmas Book of Great Ghost Stories.
I'll be cooking all day today, so I just want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. Among other things, I'm thankful for the very good people in this group.

I read the 4th book in Charlie Garratt's Inspector James Given series, Where Every Man, and I'm sure readers of the earlier books would like this one, where he is facing the fast-approaching Nazis in France in 1938.
3.5★ Link to my review of Where Every Man
I also read the 4th book in Graham Brack's delightful Master Mercurius mystery series. Mercurius is a 17th century Dutch minister/priest/university lecturer who has a talent for investigation. The Noose's Shadow is another entertaining adventure!
4.5★ Link to my Noose's Shadow review
I'm at 239, but half of them are SF&F and not Mysteries and probably about 20-30 of them are novellas/short stories

Finished the very good alternative history suspense novel SS-GB by Len Deighton and the excellent short mystery The Hanged Man of Saint-Pholien by Georges Simenon. #4 in the Inspector Maigret series but could read as a stand alone.

The Survivors by Jane Harper ⭐⭐⭐⭐.4 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...https://sandysbookaday.wordpress.com/...

Maigret is my go-to series when I need calm in my reading. I love these books.

The Nightworkers
by Brian SelfonReally more a novel than a mystery, the story of criminal money launderers is told from several viewpoints. It's an interesting exercise but it's not an easy read. And left unsaid is where all this money comes from and what it pays for. 2 stars.
Just read The Whisper Man
and it was quite good. Now I started Labyrinth
and I hope it will be as good as the before mentioned.
Just finished The Singing Sands, which I thought was a reread going in. Nope, never read that before. Utterly charming 4 stars.
The Polish Officer
by Alan FurstAbsolutely wonderful episodic novel about a Polish army officer in 1939-40 who becomes a spy fighting the Nazis. Furst has written several novels about this time period and they're all between good and great. This one is fascinating -- 5 stars.
