Hi everyone! It's that time again. I can't believe December is here already! I'm still in a reading slump, but I'm dying to hear about your November reads. What was your best and worst read this month?

ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments Not a good month reading wise !

5- 4.5 stars rounded ups

A Marriage of Inconvenience (The Arringtons and Wright-Gordons, #1) by Susanna Fraser Open Season by Linda Howard

4.5 stars rounded down

Ren Puspita (renpuspita) 5 stars:

Archangel's Shadows (Guild Hunter, #7) by Nalini Singh -> As long Nalini write PNR, she never did wrong in my eyes (but otherwise for her Conrom)
Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews -> MUST, MUST READ! :D

4 stars

Shadowdance (Darkest London, #4) by Kristen Callihan - the reason why the hero taunting the heroine for 4 years quite childish actually. But the hero also tortured, so if you like Zsadist-type, you will love him

Frozen by Meljean Brook - kindly check the author's blog for the warning since there was some trigger that may make reader uncomfortable. Same type with Shadowdance. I might be masochist :/. Anyway the sex is scorching hot, even this one is not erotica.

Wishes and Sorrows (Myth and Magic) by Cindy Lynn Speer - a collection of short stories. Very good and underrated.

3 stars

The Extraordinary Life of Lara Craft (not Croft) by Lola Salt - comedy version of Eat, Pray, Love. Heroine very funny, but the pop culture can be so annoying sometimes

The Tears of the Rose (The Twelve Kingdoms, #2) by Jeffe Kennedy - I love the first book, but struggled with this one. Heroine is very spoiled and annoying to the bone. The 1st POV also didn't help

Lauren (laurenjberman) No 5 stars this month but I did have a few 4 stars that I enjoyed:

Shakespeare's Trollop (Lily Bard, #4) by Charlaine Harris - I only have one more book left in this series and I'll be sad when its over.

The Book of Life (All Souls Trilogy, #3) by Deborah Harkness - Sad this one is over and hope that Harkness writes more. I love her style with the richly detailed historical background and symbolism.

The Cuckoo's Calling (Cormoran Strike, #1) by Robert Galbraith - Took a while to get into but couldn't put it down at the end.

Master of Surrender (Blood Sword Legacy, #1) by Karin Tabke - A good romance but not for those who prefer their romances civilized and politically correct.

Twice Tempted (Night Prince, #2) by Jeaniene Frost - Vlad! Enough said!
