I've read the book several times now, and I've enjoyed it each time. I really liked figuring out which famous person she meets on the island. It's not always clear.

My second choice for this task was The Legend of Luke by Brian Jacques.

I always find it interesting to read a book more than once when it leads to more discoveries than the first or second time. I have no problem with doing it over and over until I feel satisfied.

I have the first series book already on my TBR list for the Luke story. No sense on reading out of order if I have other choices. Need to see what my library has available. Thanks!

I agree! I have had multiple books from several series that I have been able to slide into tasks, even over other already planned books.

I have been keep track on my spread sheet for the books that were bumped off - for the ones I own at least, but was not consistent for others that I simply had titles penned in. Many were not even on my TBR list. I still have many tasks that are not done because I am determined to read the books I have planned, but not gotten to yet. Some are more important to me than others. I have been in a slump the last two weeks. I have books to read, but cannot convince myself to do it right now.

Whenever I get in a reading slump, I go back to my favorite books. After reading a few of them, I generally pull out of it.
